Kyle was nowhere to be seen on today's One Life to Live, but he was at least a topic of conversation between Crisitan and Tea Delgado. The two of them ran into each other at the hospital and the subject of Kyle naturally came up, since what he said about Fish is very much on Cristian's mind and since Kyle's late sister Rebecca blew Tea up a few months back at the end of the end of the KAD Serial Killer story.
The conversation was more of a catch up between the characters than anything new, since Tea doesn't actually know Kyle (though she, like everyone else, did helpfully mention his blackmailing of Natalie & Jared). Basically Cristian just reiterated that he's worried that Fish is going to break Layla's heart.
Meanwhile, it was Layla's first day at the police station and after Fish showed her around she brought up the fact that the two of them are now living together, working together, and dating. Layla told Fish that she didn't want everyone at the station thinking she'd got the job because she was going out with him.
Fish got the impression that Layla was breaking up with him, but Layla explained that she just wanted to make sure that they stayed strictly professional while at work and keep their relationship quiet. Fish, who I thought seemed almost disappointed when he realized she wasn't breaking up with him, agreed to the plan, noting that he was good at doing under cover work. They sealed it with their one and only kiss at the station, in the privacy of John McBain's office, which Cristian of course showed up just in time to see.
That was pretty much it today as far as Kish was concerned. I have no complaints so far, though. I think they're handling this story perfectly with a slow- but not too slow- build up.
